News from the December 2011 Annual Report Magazine from Methodist Health System Foundation of the largest gifts made towards the new expansion of the Women’s Pavilion at Methodist Mansfield Medical Center showcases Mansfield Women’s Club members. Notice of the seven great givers, five are directly connected to Mansfield Women’s Club.
| 1. The Medical Center Auxiliary has pledged $150,000 and was organized by several members of Mansfield Women’s Club and currently is being led by one of our own members, Dee Lemser. The Auxiliary also has many MWC ladies as members. | |
| 2. One of our own MWC members, Linda Hopton-Jones (who is also a member of the Auxiliary), and her husband Ronald, have pledged $150,000. | |
| 3. The Lupe Murchison Foundation has given a gift of $125,000. | |
| 4. Another of our own MWC members, Carol Esstman (also an Auxiliary member), and her husband Ed, have pledged $100,000. | |
| 5. And of course, Mansfield Women’s Club, led by President, Kathleen Powers, gave a gift of $25,000 this year. Our club has given over $125,000 in total to MMMC since its opening. | |
| 6. The Meredith Hatch Foundation has given a gift of $25,000 in memory of Meredith Hatch. | |
| 7. Another of our MWC members, Linda Hubbell, and her husband Rick, have given a gift of $25,000. |

Remember Friends and Family
In Memory & In Honor
We have a Scholarship Remembrance Program for MWC members, their families and friends, to honor or remember their relatives or friends with a tax deductible donation to our Scholarship Program. This can be done with any monetary donation mailed to our treasurer noting that it is in "honor of, or in memory of" any past or current MWC members or their family members, or anyone of their choice that they wish to remember in this way. All donations will be noted in our Newsletter, Web Page, and announced at our monthly luncheons. Tax receipt letters will be mailed to donors and letters will be mailed to those being honored or the families of those being remembered, similar to making donations to other charities. This will be an easy way to thank members for a job well done, a way to give a birthday gift that keeps on giving, or as a memorial for lost loved ones. All donations will be added to our yearly scholarship fund. Checks should be made out to Mansfield Women's Club and mailed to P.O. Box 1212, Mansfield, TX 76063, with notations and addresses included for those being remembered.
